Body Building Fitness: What The…..?

Body building fitness

Body building fitness is totally unheard of. When you mention about body building, most people will just think of lifting heavy weights, doing 6 reps of heavy squats and bench presses. Try to mention doing cardio for fitness to a body builder. You just get a funny remark and become a joke in the house.

Actually, this is no joke at all. Fitness is definitely an important component in body building. This is a overlooked part because the common thinking among body builders is that doing lots of cardio will burn off those hard earned muscles. This is totally nonsense and in fact, it will help you gain muscle.

Body building fitness means, or I would like to explain it as doing aerobic exercises to help build muscles through making nutrition distribution more efficient and also help increase the tolerance level when in comes to pre contest phase.

Basically, by including the body building fitness component into your body building program, you will be able to build more veins throughout your body. Nutrients travel through these veins and into your muscle. Isn’t logically this leads to better recovery rate?

The next issue is that the better stamina a person has, the more efficient he will be able to dispose off the acid lactic build up in the muscles when doing high reps or high intensity advance training like giant sets and super sets. This will help you’re a lot during your pre contest phase! You can now get those crazy veins running through your muscles making you un-defeat-able.

Just do 2-3 sessions of 30 minutes cardio per week. You do not have to do a marathon training routine. The intensity of your body building fitness should be around 70 percent of your max heart rate.

What do you think? Any of you body builders a fan of cardio? Help me chip in here guys!
